DURAN Industrial Glass is a division of DWK Life Sciences GmbH, a German company specializing in the manufacture of glassware for scientific research and technical applications to storage and packaging solutions.

Core product of the Industrial division is precision bore tubing and other precision glass ware with tolerances in the micrometer (µm) range. Values which would otherwise only be available using metal processing techniques. Applications for DURAN® industrial special glass are to be found in all kinds of industries, such as medical, mechanical and plant engineering and the laser and electronics industries.

DURAN® precision glass is characterized by its outstanding chemical and physical properties. Minimal thermal expansion and resistance to thermal shock make DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3 suitable for a particularly wide range of applications.
